On World Wetlands Day, Minister Noonan announced that his Department would be an active partner in a major peatlands initiative - the EU LIFE IP ‘Peatlands and People’ project, led by Bord na Móna. The project will contribute to the implementation of Ireland's Climate Action Plan through the restoration and rehabilitation of our peatlands.
