Thanks to Lisnafunchin National School for the invite to join in the celebrations of one hundred years since the foundation of the school.
The pupils played beautiful music throughout the mass and past pupils recounted their memories of the school, including the time the community rallied to prevent its closure by the department.
Now it's a vibrant school serving the community led by principal Conor Doyle. Today was a fitting celebration of past and present pupils, teachers and parents.
