Earlier this year I announced a collaboration with my colleagues Ministers Catherine Martin and Jack Chambers to support the care and conservation of Irish-language shopfronts with joint funding of €100,000 being made available.
Today, I am calling for applications under this stream of the Historic Structures Fund.
- Fund seeks to restore/refurbish Irish language shopfronts
- Structures must be included, or eligible for inclusion, in the Record of Protected Structures
- Grants of between €15,000 and €50,000 available
- Fund increases visibility of the Irish language on streetscapes
